To celebrate their 100 year Centenary Anniversary Oldershaw school in Wallasey built a brand new bespoke food hall, as part of the project I was asked to paint a large portrait of school founder Dr. John Oldershaw to hang in the new food hall. 3 large pieces of signage were also wanted for various eateries around the school, the main one being in the new food hall called 'Dr. John's Eatery'.

The portrait measures 150cm tall x 120cm wide and was painted from an old black and white photograph that is in the Headmaster's office. The school's colours of blue and gold were incorporated into the design of the signage murals and the portrait.
